Summit Federal Credit Union Brighton, NY
 As part of their branch expansion, Summit Federal Credit Union is building their fifth new branch. Located in the Town of Brighton, the branch will be 2,570 sq. ft. Pathfinder Engineers is providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design. The Credit Union is seeking LEED® Certification for this branch and the project has been registered with USGBC. Pathfinder is also providing related services and energy modeling in support of this goal.
Pathfinder is providing design of HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and power systems design, as well as application and documentation for any applicable NYSERDA grants. Design includes a ground-source heating and cooling system with seven wells.
Pathfinder completed computer modeling and services with regard to system costs, benefits, design and operational considerations with regard to the goal of LEED® Certification. The effort includes: LEED® On-Line Template preparation, supporting documentation, and review of relevant Contractor Submittals. Pathfinder will provide verification of the building’s energy related systems installation, calibration and performance according to the project requirements, basis of design and contract documents.
